Photography Policy
Welcome to our farm!
Thank you for considering taking photos here at Pace Family Farms. As stated in our mission statement, our mission is to “provide and share positive experiences” on our farm. A piece of that can include having photographs. Please help us maintain the integrity of our mission and pride by following and agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
Who can take pictures on the farm?
Pace Family Farms defines portrait photography as all engagement, quinceañera, family, maternity, portfolio, prom, graduation, and any other posed portraiture of individuals by professional photographers, as well as semi-pro, pro-am or amateur photographers, whether paid or unpaid. Pace Family Farms reserves the right to further define Portrait Photography on a case-by-case basis.
ALL PHOTOGRAPHY SCHEDULING
All portrait photography must be approved and scheduled in advance. Please select the button at the bottom of this section to fill out the form to include the following information:
1. Name, Email, and Phone Number of Subject(s)
2. Time and Date Request of Session
3. Purpose of Session (engagement, senior portraits, family, other?)
4. Business Name/Address, Personal Name, Email, and Phone Number of Photographer
5. Website URL, or Social Media site of Photographer
Once we receive your request, you will be contacted for payment of your permit. Please note that we prefer that the photographer reserves the session. Photographers who do not pre-schedule may be approached during their photo session regarding scheduling and payment.
Reservations and Permit: Please note that payment must be made in advance to reserve your session. Reservations are approved and accepted seasonally, and depend on previously scheduled farm events, or private events. Photographers that arrive to our farm without a reservation will be asked to fill out our reservation form and will not be granted access to photograph our farm dependent on filling out the necessary paperwork.
PRICING & HOW TO RESERVE YOUR DATE
Please email us at pacefamilyfarms@gmail.com to request a photo session date with the required information listed above. Confirmation for your session date will be emailed with an online invoice via Square. All payments will be due upon receipt.
RESERVED 2-HOUR "OUTDOOR" SESSION PERMIT**
$100: Winter (December to early April)
$150: Spring, Summer & Fall (mid-April through Novembfer)
$50 per additional 30 minutes
**One Session Permits (both reserved and non-reserved) are good for ONE photography session, with a maximum 2-hour time limit. I shorter than 2 hours, pro-rating does not apply.
General Photography Policies
These policies apply to ALL individuals taking still or moving images on Pace Family Farms. Pace Family Farms maintains the right to adjust these policies in specific instances.
Follow all instructions given by Pace Family Farms. Photographers must move if asked by any staff and may be asked to restrict activities to certain places or times.
Access: There will be a designated section of the farm for taking photos. Photographers and clients can and will be asked to leave the premises if going out of the boundaries occur. Clients/models must arrive camera-ready as there are no dressing room facilities. Clients/models are not allowed to change in public spaces.
Liability: Pace Family Farms assumes no responsibility for personal injury or loss, theft, or damage to equipment or other property.
All photographers, videographers, and their parties must follow all rules of Pace Family Farms, including but not limited to the following:
- Do not climb trees.
- Do not hang any objects, including props, lighting, clothing, or bags from trees, other plants, architectural features, or any other parts of property.
- Do not place anything in plant beds or soil. Nothing may be staked into the ground, including photography equipment, props, or signs.
- Do not enter or place anything in bodies of water.
- No smoking.
- No food or drink allowed.
- Animals (except service animals) may not be brought onto the farm.
- No entry allowed in areas designated as restricted.
- No glitter, confetti, rose petals (real or fake), or other items to be “tossed in the air” may be brought to our Farm.
- Moving or removing plants (inside or out) or structures that are part of the Farm—such as benches, containers, displays, plant signs, fences, etc.—is strictly prohibited.
- All photo subjects must be fully and appropriately clothed. Swimsuit photo shoots are not permitted.
- Photographers will be held accountable for their actions and those of clients, crew members and subjects if they damage Pace Family Farms facilities and property.
